In Laos the power plugs and sockets are of type A, B, C, E and F. For Type A, they have two flat 1.5mm thick blade parallel pins. For Type B, they have two flat 1.5mm thick blade parallel pins, along with 4.8mm round shaped earth pin. And for Type C plugs, they have two round 4mm prongs. And for Type E plugs, they have two round 4.8mm prongs. Type F plugs have two round 4.8mm prongs, commonly called “Schuko plug”. The standard voltage in Laos is 230 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz.
