In Italy the power plugs and sockets are of type C, F and L. They have two rounded prongs for type C (known as Europlug or CEE 7/16) and two 4.8 mm round pins for type F (known as Schuko plug or CEE 7/4). L type have plugs have three round 5mm parallel pins (CEI 2three-16/VII standard). The standard voltage in Italy is 230 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz.
